About
Do you remember a time when overthinking and frustration weren’t the “norm” but those days feel like a distant memory? Don’t you wish you had the tools to change that?
You’ve come to the right place.
I’m Dr. Christina Salama,
I help women just like you: ones that have it within them to work through everyday challenges with work and family but just need the support to get there.
My Guiding Principles
Together, we’ll develop the tools you need to give you clarity and gain relief from feeling stuck.
EMPATHY
Understanding your pain, perspective, and emotions and act on them in a helpful and meaningful way.
TRUST & CONNECTION
Feeling safe and vulnerable with your therapist to open up and get to the root of the pain. This is essential to the success of therapy.
CHALLENGE
The skill of gently confronting ideas and beliefs to enhance therapeutic exploration.
HUMOR
Medicine. Coping. Catharsis. Connection. Humor and laughter have a multitude of benefits and absolutely have a place in therapy. Now let’s have fun!
Why I Love What I Do
I help my clients find clarity and insight by equipping them with the tools and coping skills they need to improve their self-confidence and gain a better understanding of who they are and what their purpose is.
Many of today’s Christian Counselors do not often integrate the practice of spirituality and psychology in a nonjudgmental way that allows you to be vulnerable and honest, leading so many to feel hopeless and unfulfilled in the therapy process. I know that your circumstances are unique, so I make every effort to create a tailor-made approach with your therapy goals in mind.
First, we identify the pain points in your history that are causing overthinking and frustration. Then, we envision what you want your future to look like without these paint points and proceed to manage these uncomfortable feelings that will be most effective for you. Through our work together, you’ll experience freedom from your overwhelm and frustration and be equipped with the skills and confidence to flourish in your life.

I offer a free, confidential 15-minute consultation to help you decide if I’m the right fit to support you.
My Background
My training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy means I have the expertise you need and deserve when trying to figure out the next step to take in your healing journey. At the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be a godly woman struggling with sadness and confusion even though you hold on to God’s promises, right?
I get it because I’ve devoted my calling to transforming the lives of wonderful, Christian women. I, myself, experienced seasons of confusion and stagnation in my spiritual life and it inevitably influenced the quality of my work and relationships. I know how frustrating it is to believe God’s promises but feel like He is not nearby. So when we work together, you won’t just get a Christian therapist, you’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
